The parents of a teenager who was killed when a car mounted a Suffolk pavement say their son's death has "destroyed" the family.
Dean Bloomfield, 15, who was on a life support machine until Saturday, is the second boy to die after the car mounted the pavement in Bishop's Hill, Ipswich.
Scott Towler, also 15, died in Ipswich Hospital shortly after the incident which happened last Friday.
On Monday, Sharon and Dennis Bloomfield, Dean's parents, told the BBC how hard it was to come to terms with the death.
"Basically it has just destroyed us," said Mr Bloomfield.

"It's eating us up. He was a lovable rogue. We don't know what we are going to do without him."
On Monday a special assembly was held at Stoke High School, where they were both pupils.
Martin Liddle, headteacher, said: "We are all deeply shocked at the tragic deaths of Dean and Scott.
Both boys were popular and well-liked by both fellow pupils and staff."
He said special counselling and support for pupils and staff was being offered at the school through the county council.
"Our thoughts are with the families of both boys at this very difficult and distressing time," he said.
A 33-year-old man arrested afterwards is being treated in hospital, although he was uninjured in the incident.
Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
Police are asking anyone who saw the car before the accident to contact them.
