Murder hunt turns attention to Leeds

Detectives investigating the murder of Barnsley milkman Ronnie Kettridge have turned their lines of inquiry to Leeds.

South Yorkshire Police have released the details of two teenagers they want to interview in connection with the murder in Sheffield on 5 April.

Officers believe Adele Silkstone, 16, and Jamie Lee Osbourne, 18, were seen in Leeds on 7 and 8 April looking for somewhere to stay.

The pair have both been missing from their homes since Monday 7 April.

Detective Superintendent Dave Wilson said: "We strongly believe they were in the Leeds area following two separate sightings over the two days.

"Details given to us matched their description."

Detectives have now received a dozen calls since releasing details of the pair.

The body of 56-year-old Ronnie Kettridge was discovered on the Prince of Wales Road, Sheffield, at 0300 BST on Saturday 5 April.

He had been stabbed in the head and chest with a kitchen knife.
