Arrest over man's death

Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the death of another man found in a house in Norwich.

The ambulance service alerted Norfolk police after they had been called to a house in St Leonard's Road just after 1900 BST on Sunday.

The unidentified man was seriously injured and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, but was found to be dead on arrival.

On Monday, police arrested a 30-year-old local man in connection with the incident.

He is being held at Bethel Street police station.

The Norwich coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will take place.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the St Leonard's Road area on Sunday to contact them.
