A 15-year-old boy from Bedfordshire has been charged with raping a woman in Hertford.
A Hertfordshire Police spokesman said the teenager is accused of raping the woman at about 2230 BST on 28 February in the Sele Farm area of the town.
The spokesman said the boy was arrested in March after a friend of the victim, who is in her 30s, reported the incident to the police.
The teenager has been given conditional bail.
He is due to appear at Cheshunt youth court for an initial hearing on Tuesday, 29 April.
