Station facelift continues
Improvements are continuing to be made to Leominster station - although it is not a train company that is the driving force behind the facelift.

An organisation called Friends of Leominster Station is carrying on with its work to make the station a more attractive gateway to the town.

The group has already given the station a fresh coat of paint, pruned trees and bushes, picked up litter and put up new notice boards.

The organisation is also working with Wales and Borders Trains to restore the stationmaster's house, which is currently boarded up.

There are additional plans to create a new ticket office.

The group's overall aim is to make the station a place where passengers feel they can relax while finding out more about north Herefordshire.
