Fresh appeal over gems robbery

Police have released fresh CCTV pictures of a man involved in a the robbery of gems valued at £7.5m from an exclusive London jewellers.

Forty-seven pieces of diamond jewellery were stolen from Graff's on New Bond Street on 20 May.

One man has already been charged with theft and possession of a firearm in relation to the robbery - he is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 24 July.

But detectives are still seeking another man and a woman.

The man is described as possibly being of Eastern European appearance, about 5ft 7ins tall, skinny build, with short brown hair.

Officers are also trying to trace a woman who was seen with the man earlier in May.

She is described as 5ft 6ins tall, aged in her 20s, with jet black, curly, shoulder length hair.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunn, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "We know that this woman has been seen with our suspect early in May. She is said to be very distinctive looking, I'm asking to people to think back have you seen this couple together?

"We need to build up a picture of where they have been staying and where they are now."
