Drivers warned over road works

Police are urging motorists to avoid a busy road while workmen carry out essential repairs.

Transco engineers are mending a gas main at the junctions of The Slade, Horspath Driftway and Hollow Way in Headington, Oxford, on Sunday.

Three-way traffic lights will be in place but the public is being warned to expect congestion.

Drivers are advised to find an alternative route for their journeys until the work is completed.
