Anniversary appeal over mother's murder
Michelle Bettles
Ms Bettles had been strangled
Detectives in Norfolk are renewing their appeals for information a year after the murder of a young mother.

Michelle Bettles, 22, was found dead in woodland at Scarning, near Dereham, last Easter Sunday, 31 March.

The mother-of-three, who worked as a prostitute, had been strangled.

Detective Inspector Dave Ward said: "We are putting together Michelle's movements for the week prior to her death and there are some gaps that we need to fill.

"If anyone was with Michelle in the week leading up to Easter Sunday last year, or knew of her whereabouts, then we need to speak to you."

He urged former clients or associates of Ms Bettles to contact detectives with any information.

"We have dealt with everyone in this enquiry with tact and discretion and people should not be worried about coming forward."
