Massive Attack are to headline this summer's Creamfields festival in Liverpool.
Their show on 23 August at the Old Liverpool Airfield will be their first ever in the city.
The band will play in front of 40,000 people on the festival's outdoor stage, which was added last year for the first time.
The show comes two days before Massive Attack play a huge outdoor concert in their home city of Bristol.
Creamfields, now in its sixth year, has attracted some of the world's biggest dance and electronic acts such as Run DMC, Primal Scream, Basement Jaxx, Underworld, Faithless and the Pet Shop Boys.
The full line-up is being announced on 25 April.
