Woman charged with man's murder

A 29-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a Black Country man.

Police were called to a house in Drancy Avenue, Short Heath, Walsall, shortly before 2200 BST on Friday.

They discovered the body of Victor James Parr, 37, and arrested a woman at the scene.

A woman from the Short Heath area has been remanded in custody and will appear before Walsall magistrates on Monday.
