Garden scheme's butterfly aim
A group of children are working on a garden project that aims to attract more birds and butterflies to Worcestershire.

Youngsters from Birmingham are helping to build a wildlife garden at the Malvern Hills Youth Hostel.

They are creating a bog garden and rockery with its own shelter for insects and also improving the hostel's pond.

The children are working with Yvol, a Worcester-based youth volunteering programme, and the South Worcestershire Millennium Volunteers group.

It is hoped the improvements will encourage more wildlife, especially birds and butterflies, to visit the garden.

The project should be finished by Monday.
