A man has been charged with murder of his girlfriend who was found strangled in her Birmingham home.
Wayne Derek Adamson, 39, was arrested in London on Friday following the death of Kathryn Dukes at the house in Yardley she shared with her family.
The body of the 43-year-old housing association worker was found in the living room of the property in Vera Road last Monday.
West Midlands Police said Mr Adamson will appear before Birmingham magistrates
on Monday.
The couple had been together for 10 years and for the past four years had been living with Miss Dukes' parents, Stanley and Barbara, and her elder brother Christopher.
