An investigation is under way after a 19-year-old man died in a house fire in Greater Manchester.
Fire crews were called to the house at Micklehurst Road, Mossley, at about 1940 BST on Tuesday.
The man was found collapsed in a back bedroom and could not be revived.
Off-duty firefighters and neighbours had tried to save the man, but were beaten back by the flames.
Nearby roads were closed by police and houses on either side of the property had to be evacuated.
Greater Manchester Police and the county's fire service are investigating how the fire started.
