A man who claimed his rape victim consented to sex has been jailed for five years.
Obadiah Riverson, 37, was convicted of attacking the 40-year-old woman at his home in Luton, Bedfordshire.
The jury heard the woman had spent the night drinking with her sister before making her way to The Edge nightclub.
After leaving the club she struck a conversation with Riverson who was sitting in a car outside and accepted his offer of a lift to her home where she invited him in for a drink.
The court heard that Riverson invited the woman to his home in Whitethorn Way where the attack too place.
The woman's screams alerted neighbours.

Police arrested Riverson and in interview he claimed the woman had consented to sex.
Jailing Riverson for five years at Snaresbrook Crown Court Judge Alan Greenwood told him: "Rape is a violation which leaves a woman emotionally scarred for the rest of her life.
"Your victim said of the rape that you took advantage of her drunken state.
"You are in some ways a thoughtful man but you have shown absolutely no remorse."
The court heard Riverson had no previous convictions.
Ian Wade, defending, said: "There was no violence, outside the act of rape.
"The only injury found by the doctor was finger mark bruises on her upper arms."
