Police in Pakistan say a lawyer has been shot dead in a courtroom in the southern city of Karachi.
They said the incident occurred in the high court of the province of Sindh when a man opened fire on the accused in a murder trial, but missed his target, hitting the lawyer instead.
Police said the attacker then escaped on a police motorcycle which was waiting outside.
Two people, including a policeman, have been arrested in connection with the killing.
