Appeal for missing teenager
Concern is growing for a teenager from Northamptonshire who has been missing for a week.

Leanne Davis, 19, from Wellingborough, was looking after her grandmother at the Eaton Bray caravan site in Luton, Bedfordshire, at the time of her disappearance.

She is believed to be in the Middlesex or Surrey area and police are appealing for her to get in touch with them.

"Leanne's family are concerned about her as she is normally in daily contact with them and her friends.

'Out of character'

A police spokesman said: "This kind of behaviour is totally out of character and they would just like reassurance that she isn't in any danger."

Leanne is white, 5 ft 1 ins tall with a slim build. She has straight, shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are asking Leanne to contact her nearest police station.

Anybody who may have seen Leanne, or who may know her whereabouts is asked to contact Wellingborough police.

The spokesman said: "Her mum really just wants to know that she is safe and well, and if she can make contact with us, it will be a great relief to her family and friends."
