Wiltshire residents are being asked for their views a blueprint for the county's future.
The plan, which looks at long-term economic and environmental issues, will affect development in the area until 2016.
A six-week public consultation exercise is being started from 28 April.
For particular attention is the proposal new buildings should be concentrated in Swindon, Chippenham, Salisbury and Trowbridge.
The consultation document is available from council websites and offices.
Exhibitions with council officers on hand to answer questions are also being staged at:
Chippenham Town Hall on 29 April between 1400 BST and 2100 BST.
Swindon Steam Museum on 2 May between 1300 BST and 2100 BST, and on 3 May between 1100 BST and 1500 BST.
Salisbury Guild Hall on 7 May between 1400 BST and 2100 BST.
It is hoped that, following a public inquiry next year, the revised plan will be adopted in 2005.
