Police searching for a teenager missing from a farm in west Wales have found the body of a young man.
They have not confirmed whether it is
Andrew Davies, 17, who disappeared from his home in Llangadog, near Llandeilo on Thursday.
A major air and ground search - involving a police helicopter and search dogs - was mounted after he left home at midday, but it was abandoned as darkness fell and resumed on Friday.
Just hours before the body was found, it was revealed that Andrew - an epilepsy sufferer - may have taken a shotgun with him when he left his home, Dol-y-Felin Farm.
But, a police spokesman added : "If he does have the shotgun he would be more of a danger to himself than the public."
Mountain rescue volunteers joined police helicopter and tracker dog teams were dispatched on Thursday after the teenager left the family farm without explanation.
Formal identification of the body has begun, and a post mortem examination will be arranged to confirm the cause of death.
