Reservoir search ends
Waterworks Park
All entrances to Waterworks Park have been closed
Police divers searching a reservoir in north Belfast following the disappearance of a man have ended their operation for the day.

A number of people have been arrested and are being questioned about serious crime, following a number of searches in the Greater Belfast area.

Police said the search at the Waterworks Park was in connection with the disappearance of a man from his home in the area on Wednesday.

The search is understood to have begun at about 0800 BST on Friday.

All entrances to the park have been closed.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the situation would be reviewed on Saturday.

Reports suggest the missing man is a loyalist from the Lower Shankill area of Belfast.
