A convicted criminal who won almost £10m on the National Lottery has married
his girlfriend.
Michael Carroll, 19, married Sandra Aiken, 20, at a register office in King's
Lynn in Norfolk on Friday.
Mr Carroll became the centre of media attention when he won £9.7m on the lottery in November.
He collected his winnings while still wearing an electronic tag.
He had been ordered to wear the tag by magistrates, who put him under a curfew
after he was convicted of being drunk and disorderly.
Mr Carroll also has convictions for aggravated vehicle taking, causing criminal damage, and
driving while disqualified.
Mr Carroll and his bride now live in a five-bedroom house at Swaffham, near
King's Lynn.
