Police are appealing for information after an 18-year-old Suffolk woman has come forward to report a rape attack more than a month ago.
The attack happened early on Wednesday 12 February at Landseer Park, Ipswich.
A police spokesman said the victim was so traumatised by her ordeal she had only now been able to tell police details of the attack as she walked home after a night out in Ipswich.
She was on Nacton Road when a car pulled up beside her and the male driver asked her the time.
As she carried on walking she became aware of the car following her.
She began to run but tripped and fell.

The driver of the car then pulled her into the vehicle and drover to Landseer Park.
After raping the woman, her attacker drove away leaving her in the park from where she made her way home.
The attacker is described as white and muscular with cropped dark hair and in his late 30s.
He has a tan and was wearing dark clothing.
The vehicle is described as a small, dark-coloured car.
