Man admits counterfeit CD charges
A man from Hull has been given a community service order after he was caught running a counterfeit music operation from his house.

Trading standards officers raided the home of Robert Lees, at Hotham Road North, Hull, on 24 June 2002.

Six computers which he used to make counterfeit CDs and DVDs were seized along with 4,000 master film and music titles that were copied.

The 29-year-old had been running a commercial counterfeiting operation from his home using the internet and e-mail advertising.

At Hull Magistrates Court he admitted seven offences relating to counterfeiting.

He was sentenced to 200 hours community service and ordered to pay £700 costs.
