Iraq war: Ask the expert
You put your questions on humanitarian aid to Iraq to John Davison, senior spokesman for Christian Aid.

The first British supply ship carrying aid to Iraq had arrived at the southern port of Umm Qasr.

Aid agencies have welcomed the arrival of the Sir Galahad as a good start, but are concerned about the distribution of supplies, particularly as the people most in need are in areas outside coalition control.

Christian Aid spokesman John Davison accused coalition troops of bungling aid distribution and said the arrival of the Sir Galahad was a "pinprick on what is a huge problem."

John Davison answered your questions in an interactive forum.
