Scheme to reduce accidents
Residents in a North Yorkshire town are being consulted on plans to improve safety at an accident blackspot.

Six people have been injured on Wetherby Road, Boroughbridge, in the last five years

The accidents have happened between the Minskip Road roundabout and Roecliffe Lane.

The county council has sent details of two possible traffic calming schemes to local residents and traders.

Anyone wishing to comment on the plans can fill in a questionnaire, available from the village information centre and the library.

Replies must be received at county hall in Northallerton by 28 April.
