The police seized 800 cannabis plants in the raids

Police have arrested six people and seized firearms and 800 cannabis plants in a series of drugs raids.
More than 100 officers from three forces carried out the swoops on addresses in Darley Dale, in Derbyshire, Retford, in Nottinghamshire and in Sheffield.
Detective Sergeant Mick Willsmer, of Derbyshire Police, led the operation on Monday and said that cash and ready-to-sell cannabis were also recovered during the raids.
Stuart Melyvn Bown, 34, of Reedsmere Cottage, Dale Road, Darley Dale, was later charged with production of cannabis, supply of cannabis and money laundering offences.
Three bailed
He has been remanded in custody to appear before North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates' Court.
His wife Tracy Bown, 36, of the same address, will appear before magistrates charged with money laundering offences.
Stephen Roberts, 32, of Bramley Avenue, Handsworth, Sheffield, will also appear charged with production of cannabis.
Three other men have been released on police bail.
