More time for Jade police
Jade Sinclair, 3
Jade died three days after being taken to hospital
Police have been given extra time to continue questioning a man on suspicion of murdering a three-year-old girl.

Jade Louise Sinclair was discovered with serious head injuries following a suspected assault at her home in Lincoln.

The little girl, from Thoresway Drive, on the Ermine East estate, was found by police at about 2300 GMT on Sunday.

She was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and later transferred to Sheffield Children's Hospital where she died on Wednesday afternoon.

A 23-year-old man, who was arrested on Monday, remains in custody at Lincoln police station and is being questioned in connection with the death.

A police spokesman said they were unable to release details of the cause of Jade's death "for operational reasons".
