Hunt for attacker after indecent assault

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for information on the assault
Police appealed for information on Thursday after an indecent assault on a woman in Bedfordshire.

The attack happened at 2220 GMT on Friday last week at Priory Street, Bedford.

A Bedfordshire Police spokeswoman said the man grabbed the woman from behind, put his hand over her mouth and ripped open her blouse.

But when the woman kicked the man he fled.

The attack happened near the QD store in the town after the woman had left the Pilgrim's Progress pub.

Bedfordshire Police said the man was black, aged 20 to 25, 5 ft 4 ins in height and of medium build.

He was wearing a black padded jacket with the hood up and blue jeans.
