Fatal Kyrgyz bus blaze
At least seventeen people have been killed in a fire on board a bus travelling in eastern Kyrgyzstan.

Early reports say the bus - which was Chinese-owned - caught fire after overturning on a mountain road, in the Naryn region, which borders China.

The Kyrgyz emergency ministry said the bus was carrying forty people when the accident happened.

Some Russian news agencies put the death toll higher, at all forty dead.

An interior ministry spokesman said the nationalities of those travelling on the bus was not yet known. Rescue teams have gone to the area.
