Motorcyclist killed in accident
A motorcyclist has been killed in an accident in West Lancashire.

Mark Harrison, 40, of Penleach Avenue, Leigh, lost control of his motorbike on a bend on the A5207 at Parbold, near Ormskirk, at about 2100 GMT on Wednesday.

The bike veered to the opposite side of the road and was in collision with a car, before colliding with another motorbike in the group Mr Harrison was travelling with.

He was taken to Ormskirk General Hospital with head and injuries, but later died.

Police are urging witnesses to the accident to come forward.
