Charles Kennedy visits marginal seat
Charles Kennedy MP
Mr Kennedy will be visiting a school
Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy is in East Yorkshire on Friday.

Mr Kennedy will be visiting the Haltemprice and Howden constituency which his party has hopes of winning at the next general election.

The seat is currently held by the Conservative David Davis with a majority of just under 2,000.

Mr Davis is a member of the shadow cabinet and looks after the issues covered by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

This makes it one of the country's most marginal seats although boundary changes could make it harder for the Liberal Democrats.

Mr Kennedy will try to rally support during a visit to South Hunsley School at Melton.

He will also tour the Press Association building in Howden.
