Police have released the name of the man found dead in a wooded area outside Aberdeen University halls of residence on Thursday.
Detectives said they were keeping an "open mind" about how Sean Christie Nicol, 31, died and that their inquiries were continuing.
Mr Nicol, of North Sea Court, Aberdeen, was found by a university employee lying among leaves in a wooded area at the rear of South House at Hillhead halls of residence.
Security van raided
A five-figure sum of money has been stolen from a security van a bank in Dunfermline.
Police say two or three people were involved in carrying out the raid, which happened during the night in Bothwell Street. No-one was injured.
The thieves drove away in a white coloured car and investigators have appealed for any witnesses to get in touch with detectives.
Farmers stage Tesco blockade
About 200 dairy farmers have blockaded a supermarket's fresh food distribution centre in Livingston.
Thursday night's protest at the Tesco depot was aimed at persuading the company to use its influence to raise the price farmers get for their milk.
It was the latest in a series of demonstrations in a long-running dispute over the price suppliers pay for milk.
Other targets have included a Dairycrest factory near Carlisle and a cheese plant near Lockerbie.
Tourist bogged down on Skye
A tourist has been rescued by helicopter after getting stranded in a peat bog on Skye.
The man managed to call the emergency services on his mobile phone after getting into difficulties at Sleat.
Stornoway Coastguard helicopter winched the German to safety then set him down on dry land nearby.
A coastguard spokeswoman the man was well equipped and was not injured in the incident.
Trust chief set to move on
An announcement is expected soon that the chief executive of Lothian University Hospitals NHS Trust, Stuart Gray, is leaving after only a year in the job.
Mr Gray joined the trust, one of the biggest in Scotland, from Wales.
He is understood to be staying in the NHS, but is moving to a post in England.
It was disclosed last month that the Lothian Trust, which covers the major hospitals in Edinburgh, is £6m in debt but this is not thought to be linked to his departure.
