Max Beckmann: Your views
The Argonauts, National Gallery of Art, Washington, gift of Mrs M Beckmann
The Argonauts was Max Beckmann's final work
Tate Modern, in London, has devoted 14 rooms to the work of Berlin painter Max Beckmann.

The space is "not enough to contain all his empathy, curiosity, sadness and hope," wrote BBC News Online's Caroline Frost..

She added: "The exhibition is in itself a visual feast. But the knowledge of the artist's history makes us witnesses to an emotional odyssey, the path taken by Max Beckmann, still beckoning us with his brush."

But what do you think? Is it a genuine attempt to capture the beauty and horror of humanity? Does it leave you cold?
