Strongest man in UK dies
Marc Iliffe was Britain's strongest man
Britain's strongest man has been found dead at his home.
Marc Iliffe, 30, from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, was the country's reigning champion strongman. A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a house on Vivian Road, where the body of a 30-year-old man was found dead. "There are no suspicious circumstances and we are currently preparing a report to be passed to the coroner." A spokesman for the Northamptonshire Coroner's Office said a post-mortem examination was being carried out. An inquest into Mr Iliffe's death was due to be opened on Thursday afternoon. Mr Iliffe won the British strongman title in North Wales last year. He had also made two appearances in the World's Strongest Man competition.
