Murder police follow new leads
Murder victim Jean Dicker
Jean Dicker died of severe head injuries
Police in Essex are trying to trace a person with a grey or silver-coloured coat who may hold vital information about the murder of a Clacton woman.

Former traffic warden Jean Dicker, 58, was found dead in her bungalow in Craigfield Avenue on 29 January by her son.

Detectives say they have taken 130 statements and have 310 lines of enquiry to follow up, but urgently need more help from the public.

Detective Superintendent Gareth Wilson said: "This is a crime that has shocked the whole community.

"I am determined to find the person responsible and see them brought to justice."

Mrs Dicker died from head injuries caused by a blunt instrument.
