Missing motorway woman found safe
Andrea Christodoulou
Ms Christodoulou was missing when help arrived
A woman who went missing overnight after making an emergency call when her car broke down, has turned up safe.

Andrea Christodoulou's car was found abandoned on the M61, near Chorley, Lancashire at about 2230 GMT on Tuesday.

A big search was launched by Lancashire Police, who said they were concerned for her welfare.

But she was found safe at her home in St Annes, Lancashire, on Wednesday evening.

She had been last seen leaving there to travel to Blackpool at about 1200 GMT on Tuesday.
