Jailed solicitor taken to hospital
Jeremy Cave
Jeremy Cave was found guilty of theft
North Yorkshire solicitor Jeremy Cave, who was jailed last week for stealing from the estates of dead clients, has been taken to hospital with heart trouble.

He is serving a three-and-a -half year sentence at Holme Prison in Stockton-on-Tees, after a jury found him guilty of stealing £155,000.

A Prison Service spokesman said Cave complained of chest pains on Tuesday night and was taken to hospital and placed on a coronary care ward.

The spokesman would not name the hospital.

Cave, who is 53, ran a one-man practice in Thirsk and was also the coroner for the western division of North Yorkshire.

He denied 10 counts of theft from the beneficiaries of dead clients between 1990 and 2000.
