Woman missing after car breakdown
Andera Christodoulou
Andrea was not in her vehicle when help arrived
A big search is under way for a woman who has not been seen since calling for help when her car broke down on a motorway.

Andrea Christodoulou rang for help from a phone box on the M61 near Chorley, Lancashire, at about 2230 GMT on Tuesday.

But when help arrived, there was no-one in her vehicle.

Police said it was believed a male relative was with her at the time of the call.

'Get in touch'

Ms Christodoulou was last seen leaving her home in St Annes, Lancashire, to travel to Blackpool at about 1200 GMT.

Police said they did not know if a crime had been committed, but appealed for her to get in touch.

Ms Christodoulou is described as 5'8" tall, of medium build, and with an olive complexion and slight freckles.

She has brown eyes, long black curly hair and may be wearing spectacles.

When last seen, she was wearing a black top, black trousers and black boots.
