Teenager critically ill after crash
Officers in a car
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash
A 16-year-old girl is in a critical condition after a car crash involving five Solihull teenagers.

A Peugeot 106 and Ford Escort collided as they travelled in the same direction on Station Road, Balsall Common on Tuesday evening.

The Peugeot then hit a lamp post and a tree, leaving the front passenger with head injuries and a broken pelvis.

A second passenger suffered facial injuries and shock.

Both drivers and the Escort passenger were unhurt.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
