Man dies in car crash
Police tape
The road was re-opened by police at 0830 GMT
A 24-year-old man has died after a serious road accident in East Yorkshire.

Another man, 28, from Hull, was seriously injured after a Rover MGZ was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Vectra on Beverley Road, Dunswell, at 0012 GMT on Wednesday.

Both men were cut from the wreckage and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary but the younger man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 19-year-old driver of the Vectra and two female passengers, aged 17 and 20, all from Cottingham, suffered minor injuries.

Accident investigators have examined the scene so police have now re-opened the road.

Anyone that may have witnessed the accident or saw the Rover MG before the collision has been asked to contact Beverley Police on 01482 597900.
