Common EU defence policy?

The other boys in the European playground are beginning to gang up on France and Germany.

On the day Blair went to Spain to declare loyalty to Washington, we asked just what game the French and Germans are playing? Will they win? And is the notion of a common EU defence and foreign policy now in tatters?

Abuse of those with learning difficulties
Our reporter Jackie Long had an exclusive investigation into the abuse of those with learning difficulties in care. Why are police checks not being run on many of those working in that sector?

We put those questions to Home Office Minister, Lord Falconer.
