Man stabbed in back after row
Police cars in Bristol
Police are seeking witnesses to the stabbing
A Somalian man has been stabbed in the back after a row over money in Bristol.

The man, who has not been named, was rushed to hospital following the violent argument in the Lawrence Hill area of the city.

Police say the injured man and another man had been seen rowing in the Carlton Club in Thrissel Street early on Wednesday evening.

Then at around 1820 GMT, the injured man went into the Easton Leisure Centre to ask for help - he had been stabbed in the back.

Staff at the centre treated him and called an ambulance to take him to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

The man was treated for a knife wound to the back before being discharged from hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Anyone who saw the fight or the argument, or who has information about the incident, is asked to contact the police.
