Extra engineers to restore gas
Transco workers at Woodford Halse
Extra Transco workers were brought in
More than 100 engineers have been drafted in to help restore gas to more than 1,000 customers in Northamptonshire - who have been without supplies since Monday.

Villagers in Woodford Halse, Byfield and Chipping Warden have spent their third night without gas.

Supplies were disrupted when a contractor hit a main in Banbury on Monday evening.

Residents left without supplies have been using heaters given to them by Transco, the gas engineers.

Transco has set up an emergency number for people to contact: 0800 111 999.
