'Bullied' worker awaits job decision
A council worker from Swindon who set up a website criticising the way the authority is run is soon to hear her fate.

Deborah Rees said she wanted to make others aware of her concerns about alleged bullying at work.

Ms Rees claimed her life was made a misery after she reported claims of poor standards in Swindon social services department.

She was suspended from her job in the department in August 2002.

Ms Rees, who has worked for the department for four years, said she hoped her website would encourage others to talk about their adverse experiences.

Speaking in August 2002, she admitted she had been expecting disciplinary action as a consequence.

A hearing is due to convene at 1400 GMT on Thursday.
