The scene of crime in Milton Keynes
Police were called to the housing estate
A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with murdering a mother and her teenage son.

Gregory Davis, 23, appeared before Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court accused of killing Dorothy Rogers, 48, and Michael Rogers, 19.

He also faced one charge of attempting to murder James Cowell, Mrs Rogers' boyfriend.

Mrs Rogers' body was found at her house in Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, on Tuesday, while her son was discovered dead nearby.

Mr Cowell, who is in his 60s, is in a stable condition at Milton Keynes General Hospital suffering from skull fractures.

Mr Davis, of Wood Lane in Great Linford, is due to appear at Luton Crown Court on 7 February.
