Forensics officers examined the house on Wednesday
Buckinghamshire police continued on Wednesday to question a man over the murder of a man and woman on a housing estate.

The body of the woman was discovered at her house in Stantonbury in Milton Keynes at 1120 GMT on Tuesday.

The body of a man who police believe to be her son was found a short distance away in a play area at Walshes Manor.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and a car was seized in nearby Great Linford.

Man attacked

A man in his 60s was also attacked on Tuesday.

He is being treated at Milton Keynes General Hospital for head injuries.

Friends and well-wishers have left flowers outside the taped-off, semi-detached house, which was being examined by forensics officers.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said post mortem examinations were being carried out.
