Fans hit donation target for club
Twerton Park
The final £3,000 was donated on Wednesday
Supporters of Bath City FC have hit their financial target to buy their beloved club.

The fans have been working for over a year to raise £235,000, which they had to have by 31 January.

The missing £3,000 came on Wednesday evening from the current chairman of Gloucester City, and former referee, Colin Gardner.

The money allows the supporters to buy out the 51% stake owned by Bath firm, Corporate Equity.

They stepped in six years ago when City experienced financial difficulties after Bristol Rovers stopped sharing the club's ground at Twerton Park.
