Woman's body found in River Avon
Police in car
Police are keeping an open mind about the death
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was pulled from the River Avon in Evesham.

She has been named as 69-year-old Valerie Hughes, of Hughes Close, Harvington

Her body was discovered on Tuesday.

Police said they are keeping an open mind about how she died and are continuing with an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

An inquest is expected to be opened in Stourport-on-Severn on Thursday.
