Boys find drugs in nature reserve
Ecstasy tablets
Police identified the 4,700 tablets as ecstasy
Class A drugs with a street value of £30,000 have been discovered in a north Devon nature reserve.

Two schoolboys were playing in the Cairn area of Ilfracombe when they found three jars containing tablets.

Officers identified the 4,700 tablets as ecstasy.

The boys told their parents of the discovery, and they alerted Devon and Cornwall Police.

Tracing owner

Police said the boys did the right thing by telling their parents.

Officers say are now trying to trace the owner of the drugs.

They are appealing for anyone with information about the hoard to get in touch with Ilfracombe Police Station on 08705 777444.

People can also call the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
