Murder detectives release man
Police station
An incident room has been set up in Blackburn
Police investigating the murder of a teenager in Lancashire have questioned a 24-year-old man.

Eamon McDonnagh, a traveller, was found injured near the Moorings pub on Bolton Road, Blackburn, in the early hours of Wednesday.

The 17-year-old died a few hours later at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.

Detectives working on the case questioned a man on Thursday, but he was later released without charge on police bail.

Police are urging anyone with information about the murder to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a groups of youths it is believed Mr McDonnagh was involved in an altercation with.
