'Sword' man charged
Police were called just after midnight
A man has been charged with affray and criminal damage following an alleged incident involving a samurai sword.
Police were called to a house in the Bickington area of Barnstaple, Devon just after midnight on Wednesday. A man allegedly left the house brandishing a samurai sword. He was overpowered by police officers. A 20-year-old man from Barnstaple will appear before the town's magistrates on Thursday.
